models would incur dysfunction or malfunctioning of the TAG
Heuer Connected Watch.
To the extent permitted by law, TAG Heuer does not warrant
that the operation of the TAG Heuer Connected Watch will be
uninterrupted or error-free.
Software applications developed and made available to you
by TAG Heuer for use with the TAG Heuer Connected Watch are
not covered by the International Limited Guarantee. Your use of
software applications shall be subject to your acceptance of the
dedicated terms and conditions of those applications and, as the
case may be, privacy policies.
Software application developed by or provided to you by third
parties are not covered by the International Limited Guarantee.
Any guarantee that is provided in connection with such third-
party software is provided solely by such third parties and not by
TAG Heuer. Accordingly, you acknowledge that TAG Heuer shall
not be held liable with regards to the use and/or exploitation
of such third parties software. You should carefully read third
parties' terms and conditions before using the relevant software.
Additional information about sensors and intended use
The TAG Heuer Connected Watch includes sensors which may
allow you to track certain activities and access to or generate
various metrics and data (e.g., distance, calories, geolocation, heart
rate). Any such metrics and data generated or calculated through
your use of the TAG Heuer Connected Watch are provided to you
for informational and recreational purposes only. You must not
use these metrics and data for any purpose requiring accurate
precision or information (and, in respect of geolocation, precise
navigation) and we make no guarantee or warranty as to the accu-
racy of such metrics and data. Please be aware, without prejudice
to the aforementioned, that the TAG Heuer Connected Watch will
not be able to properly measure your heart rate if wearing the
watch with a steel bracelet.
Finally, the TAG Heuer Connected Watch is not a medical device. It
is not intended to provide medical diagnostic services or medical
advice and must not be used to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent
any disease. The accuracy of TAG Heuer's products and services
is not intended to be equivalent to medical devices or scientific
measurement devices. Consult your physician before using the
TAG Heuer Connected Watch if you have a medical or heart con-
dition, and always consult your physician before beginning or
modifying any exercise program.
What do you need to do to benefit from the International
Limited Guarantee?
To benefit from the International Limited Guarantee the following
conditions must be met:
• the International Guarantee Card, located in the guarantee
booklet your received with your TAG Heuer Connected Watch,
must be enclosed with your TAG Heuer Connected Watch when
it is sent for repair and must be duly electronically activated
(TAG Heuer Warranty Activation System) by such TAG Heuer
authorized retailer, at the time of the sale. If no such Warranty
Activation System was available when you purchased your TAG
Heuer Connected Watch, the International Guarantee Card
should then be completed, dated and signed by the TAG Heuer
authorized retailer. If at the time of first opening you notice
that the guarantee booklet does not contain an International
Guarantee Card and such Card has not been electronically
activated at the time of the sale, we invite you to contact your
TAG Heuer authorized retailer as you will not be able to benefit
from the International Limited Guarantee, absent of such card.
• TAG Heuer will not be able to honor the guarantee for TAG
Heuer Connected Watches sold without valid International
Guarantee Card properly validated through TAG Heuer
Warranty Activation System at the time of the sale (or filled
out, dated and signed by a TAG Heuer authorized retailer); and
• the serial number engraved on the case is perfectly legible and
no part of the original case back or original serial number has
been removed, modified, falsified, altered, replaced, erased,
defaced or made illegible.
Failure to abide by any of the above conditions renders all rights
resulting from the TAG Heuer International Limited Guarantee
null and void.
General conditions and limitations
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the International Limited
Guarantee does not include and, to the extent permitted by law,
TAG Heuer expressly disclaims, any warranty, whether express or
implied, of fitness for a particular purpose.
TAG Heuer and its official Customer Service Centers shall have sole
discretion to decide to repair, replace or refund any TAG Heuer
timepiece under the International Limited Guarantee. To the
extent permitted by the local law, TAG Heuer shall not be liable
for any incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages.
We recommend that you send your TAG Heuer Connected Watch
(together with the International Guarantee Card, as instructed
above) by registered mail, carefully wrapped to avoid damage,
to the nearest official TAG Heuer Customer Service Center, or
