Dual Lumen Cannula
Before using, read the
following information:
DESCRIPTION / INDICATIONS FOR USE:
Sterile, single-use device for the application of
TISSEEL Two-Component Fibrin Sealant
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
None
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1.
Remove the Applicator from its package using
sterile technique. Remove the protective tube.
2.
Push the male syringe set Luers firmly into the
female Luer cones on the Applicator as shown
in Figure 1.1.
3.
Push down on the snap lock to securely fasten
the Applicator to the syringe Luers as shown
in Figure 1.2.
4.
Tips (metal only) may be angled to improve
access or visibility of surgical site.
5.
Applicator is ready for use.
6.
To release the Applicator from the syringe
Luers, press the release button on the Snap
Lock as shown in Figure 2.
7.
Dispose of as biohazard waste. Device will
degrade if reprocessed. No effective cleaning
process has been developed to prevent
cross contamination. Contamination of a
reprocessed device may lead to injury, illness
or death of a patient.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
This system consists of two parts, a Tisseel syringe
system and a dual cannula Applicator. Tisseel
syringe systems and applicators must be ordered
separately. Make sure that you have both parts
before proceeding.
