The clearance between the tip of the needle and the top of

1. Remove the side plate.
2. Set the feed adjustment dial to the minimum setting.
3. Loosen the two set screws

To advance the needle timing, turn in the direction of
A. To retard the needle timing, turn in the direction
of B.

Advancing the needle timing tends to improve the
tightness of the seam. (Figure A)
Note: If the vertical cam
turned too far in the direction of A, it may cause
the needle to break.
4. After adjusting, securely tighten the set screws

2. Stellen Sie die Transporteinstellscheibe auf die
Minimalposition.
3. Lösen Sie die beiden Schrauben

Nockens der andere Nocken mitgedreht wird.)

Drehen Sie den Nocken zum Vorstellen der Nadelsyn-
chronisation in Richtung A, bzw. zum Nachstellen in
Richtung B.
¡
Durch das Vorverstellen der Nadelsynchronisation
kann die Festigkeit der Naht erhöht werden (Abb. A).
Hinweis: Falls der horizontale

zu weit in Richtung A gedreht

werden, kann die Nadel brechen.
4. Ziehen Sie nach dem Einstellen die Schrauben
