This machine can only be operated
safely when the operating and the
safety instructions have been
completely read and strictly adhered
to.
 Before any work on the unit itself, in pauses in the
work and when not in use, disconnect the air source.
 Use only original accessories

Air Supply

The supplied air must be free of foreign material and
humidity to protect the unit from damage, contamination
and rust.
The use of a pressurised air maintenance unit is
necessary.
All fittings, connecting lines and hoses must be
dimensioned for the required air pressure and volume.
Avoid restrictions in the air supply resulting from, e.g.,
pinching, kinking or stretching!
In case of doubt, measure the pressure with an pressure
gauge at the air inlet with the unit switched on.
Maintenance Unit
The maintenance unit ensures fault-free functioning of
pneumatic tools.
It consists of two main components:
 Filter with water separator
 Pressure reduction valve
 Mist oiler
Lubricant in the mist oiler: Motor oil SAE 10.
Do not use parraffin or diesel oil
Adjust the mist oiler so that a thin film of oil collects on
the air outlet.

Observe the operating instructions of the maintenance
unit.
Start-up
The unit operates optimally with a nominal pressure of
6.3 bar (90 psi) measured at the air inlet with the unit
running.
If the machine does not start, e.g. when not used for a
longer period, disconnect the air supply and turn the drive
spindle 1 by hand.
Adhesive forces are eliminated in this manner.
Direction of Rotation
Rotation to the right: Connect the air supply hose to
Rotation to the left : Connect the air supply hose to
Torque
The rotational torque is controllable by means of the
operating pressure.
The stated no-load rotational speed is achieved with the
silencer connected. If the silencer is removed, the speed
must be checked. Excessive speed is to be reduced to
the rated speed with a choke,.
Excessive speed causes unnecessary noise and
shortens the service life of the unit.
Leading off of Exhaust Air
When the silencer is removed, the exhaust air can be led
off by connecting an exhaust air hose to the air outlet 4.
Advantages:
 Noise reduction.
 Cleaner workplace by avoiding stirred up dust.
 Exhaust air conducted away.
