Temperature sensors can be inserted into a thermowell for measuring the
gas temperature in the gas meter housing. Up to two thermowells are
available for this on turbine meters as an option (depending on the meter
size). There are no temperature test points on quantometers. The number
and design of the thermowells are set out in the following table:
