6.OPTIONAL METHOD OF INSTALLATION
6.1 Optional method of installation in the rearward facing position and forward facing
6.1.1 Important
· Please check rst if there are two ISOFIX anchorages in the perpendicular intersection of the vehicle seat back and seat cushion.
· If your vehicle has not been tted with the ISOFIX latch guides as standard, t the two latch guides that came with the safety seat with the opening facing
upwards at the two lSOFlX securing points of you vehicle (Figure 34).
· By turning the I-Fix arms, extract both arms (Figure 35).
6.1.2 The insertion guides facilitate the installation of the safety seat with the aid of the ISOFIX securing points and prevents damage to the upholstery. When not in
use they should be removed and stored in a safe place. In vehicles with a reclining back the insertion guides should be removed before the seat is reclined. Problems
that may arise are generally the result of accumulation of dirt or foreign bodies in the insertion guides and the clasps. To solve this type of problem simply clean the
part in question.
6.2 Group 0+/1(0-18kg) installed in the rearward facing position(Optional method)
6.2.1 Follow the steps described in points 5.1.1 and 5.1.2
6.2.2 Make sure the I-Fix arms are displayed to install the car seat reardward facing (group 0+) .
6.2.3 Place the seat in the back seat of the vehicle and contrary to the direction of travel (Figure 36).
6.2.4 Hold the safety seat with both hands and insert the two I-Fix arms rmly into the insertion guides until they fasten with a click on both sides. The red button will
partially change to green on both sides (Figure 37).
6.2.5 Shake the seat to check that it is correctly anchored to the vehicle's ISOFIX points.
6.2.6 Follow the steps described in points 5.1.4 to 5.1.10
Uninstalling the I-Fix system
To free the I-Fix anchoring, press the I-Fix system unlock buttons in order to free the seat from the vehicle ISOFIX anchoring system (Figure 38).
6.3 Group 1(9-18kg) installed in the forward facing position (Optional method)
6.3.1 Ensure that the seat is not in a reclined position. Pull the lever orward and adjust the angle of recline to position 1 without releasing the lever. Release the
lever when the seat is in the desired position (Figure 39).
6.3.2 Make sure the I-Fix arms are displayed to install the car seat forward facing (group 1)
6.3.3 Place the seat in the back seat of the vehicle in the direction of travel
6.3.4 Hold the safety seat with both hands and insert the two Isoclick Fix arms rmly into the insertion guides until they fasten with a click on both sides. The
red button will partially change to green on both sides (Figure 40 .
6.3.5 Shake the seat to check that it is correctly anchored to the vehicle's ISOFIX points.
6.3.6 Follow the steps described in points 5.2.3 to 5.2.7
Uninstalling the I-Fix system
To free the I-Fix anchoring, press the I-Fix system unlock buttons in order to free the seat from the vehicle ISOFIX anchoring system (Figure 41).
6.4 Group 2/3(15-36kg) installed in the forward facing position(Optional method)
6.4.1 Make sure the 5-point harness and harness buckle have been correctly removed (see points 5.3.1)
6.4.2 Make sure the Isoclick Fix arms are displayed to instal the car seat
6.4.3 Place the safety seat on the vehicle seat in the direction of travel.
6.4.4 Hold the safety seat with both hands and insert the two Isoclick Fix arms rmly into the insertion guides until they fasten with a click on both sides. The
red button will partially change to green on both sides .
6.4.5 Shake the seat to check that it is correctly anchored to the vehicle s ISOFIXpoints.
6.4.6 Follow the steps described in points 5.3.2 to 5.3.4
7.REMOVAL FABRIC COVER AND ASSEMBLY

SPS SIDE PROTECTORS INSTALLATION (Figure 51). Be sure to install the SPS protector shield in the safety seat side corresponding to the door of the vehicle. Install the
left SIPS side shield if you install the safety seat on the left side of the rear seats of the vehicle ( g. A). Install right side SPS if you are installing the safety seat on the
opposite side ( g. B).
8. CLEANING
Please be sure to use only original seat covers, as the seat cover is important to the proper functioning of the system. Replacement seat covers are available
from your retailer and or at branches. The child seat must not be used without the seat cover.
8.1 The cover can be removed and washed with a mild detergent using the washing machine's cycle for delicate items (30 C). Please observe the instructions on the
washing label of the cover.The colours of the cover may fade if washed at more than 30 C. Do not spin, and never tumble dry in an electric clothes dryer (the fabric
may separate from the padding).
8.2 The plastic parts can be cleaned using soapy water. Do not use harsh cleaning agents (such as solvents).
8.3 The harness can be removed and washed in lukewarm soapy water. Caution! Never remove the buckle tongues from the straps.
