3. Turn the STOP/RUN switch (A) on the control panel
counterclockwise to 0 to make sure that the grinding
head is off.
4. Turn the ON/OFF switch (B) on the control panel to 1
to start the product. The LED adjacent to the
ON/OFF switch comes on.
5. Turn the switch for remote control/manual operation
(C) on the control panel counterclockwise to 0 for
manual operation.
6. Turn the STOP/RUN switch on the control panel
clockwise to start the grinding head. In less than 5
seconds, the product operates at idle speed. The
small motor starts after approximately 2 seconds.
To stop the product with the control panel
CAUTION: Do not lift the grinding head from
the surface when you stop the motor. The
tool plates rotate for a while after the motor
stops. Dust can go into the air and the
surface can become damaged.
CAUTION: Do not let the product become
stationary until the tool plates stop fully.

2. Keep the tool plates against the surface until they
stop fully.
CAUTION: If you grind adhesive asphalt,
paint or equivalent material, the product
can attach to the adhesive surface.
Immediately after the tool plate stopped
fully, lift up the front of the grinding head
a small distance.
3. Turn the ON/OFF switch (B) on the control panel to 0
to stop the product. The LED adjacent to the
ON/OFF switch goes off.
4. Disconnect the power plug.

Remote control

The remote control can operate by radio communication.
To operate by radio communication, it is necessary to do
a pairing operation. Refer to
on page 28 .
The remote control can also operate with a CAN bus
cable connected between the remote control and the
product. The CAN bus cable can for example be used
when the state of charge in the remote control battery is
low. For instructions on how to connect the remote
control to the product with a CAN bus cable, refer to
connect the remote control to the product with a CAN
bus cable on page 28 .
The remote control has all controls that are necessary to
operate the product. The remote control has a digital
display with a menu system. Refer to
page 24 .
Main menu
In the main menu, the "OK" button on the remote control
opens the menu system.
