Unpack the loudspeakers, crossovers and accessories and check if all parts are contained and
undamaged, as listed below:
• 2 mid/woofers ECP25-G5/ECP26-G5
• 2 tweeters ECP-G5 tweeters with mounting adapters
• 2 crossovers ECP25-G5/ECP26-G5
• 2 plastic trim rings/metal mesh grilles
• 1 set of wiring hardware for tweeter and mid/woofer
• 1 set of tweeter mounting hardware
• 1 instruction manual
general InFo's
The first step of a sucessful install is to choose the best mounting locations for the tweeters and mid/
woofers . Usually, cars come with factory speaker openings for mid/woofers, and the ECP-G5 sets
are designed to fit a great variety of Euro-DIN bolt-hole patterns and cutouts . If you can not mount the
mid/woofers to an existing factory cutout, the alternative is to buy a set of car specific doorboards,
to provide a stable platform for the ECP-G5 mid/woofer mounting . In such a case, we reccomend
that you consult your EMPHASER dealer to ask for his assistance .
