e. Place the top connector [4] on the top edge
of the pool wall so that the flap of the atta-
chment part of the top connector is outside
the pool (Fig. 5-5).
f. Insert one end of the top rail [6] into the top
connector [4]. Align the screw hole in the flap
with the screw hole near the top of the verti-
cal bar [1]. The flap of the top connector part
must be outside the vertical bar. The bar must
be in a vertical position.
g. Fix the top connector to the vertical bar with
one Parker screw [3]. It will be necessary to
push hard on the bar (Fig. 5-6).
h. Repeat the steps for each vertical bar around
the perimeter of the pool wall.
Tip: Use the grooves on the pool wall to check
the verticality of the bars.
i. Finally, if you have an oval pool, place a plastic
decorative cover [18] on the metal plates [17].
Put the cover on as shown in Figure 5-7. Secure
the fitted cover with a screw [19] (Fig. 5-8).
Note: The Parker screws [19] are 25 mm long,
which distinguishes them from other Parker
screws in the supplied fasteners. Only these
screws can be used to attach the cover.
4. STICK A WARNING LABEL ON THE POOL
a. Stick a warning label near where you will enter or exit the pool.
Be aware that the pool is not deep enough to jump safely into;
there is a risk of injury.
