Exchange of sensor on Soliphant M FTM5x - separate version

Modular assemblies may only be exchanged against identical original Endress+Hauser spare parts !
It must be ensured that the supply voltage has been disconnected from the instrument before disassembly.

The repair must be performed such that the voltage resistance of the Ex ia circuits relative to ground potential
is maintained. If required, a test can be performed with 500 Veff for 60 seconds.
The threads in the housing and on the lid must be checked.
In case of damage, the faulty part must be exchanged.

The exchange requires the following tools:
• circlip pliers for the internal holding ring
• wrench AF22, AF32, AF50
• eventually pair of tweezers or flat pliers
• plugging tool (part No.: 71026213)
Dismounting:
Pressure screw (AF22),

hold the sensor head (AF50) .

Push up the pressure screw and the sealing
insert.

Unscrew adapter (AF32), do not loosen the
cable gland, hold the sensor head (AF50)
Then push the adapter upwards.
Loosen and pull out the Seger circlip ring

with the circlip pliers.

Insert the plugging tool at an angle and
straighten it until it engages with the
plug connector.

Remove the plug connector with plugging tool.
