e) Adjusting the length of the collection pipe

When adjusting the length of the collection pipe, ensure the pump unit does not touch the bottom of the
water collection unit. This helps keep dirt collected inside the water collection unit away from the filter.
The collection pipe can be extended up to 26 cm long.
• Turn the lock nut (9) counter-clockwise to release the collection pipe (Fig. 8).
• Adjust the length of the collection pipe according to the size of your water collection unit by pulling down or pushing
upwards (Fig. 9).
• If necessary lightly pull or push the discharge hose (4) when adjusting the length of the collection pipe.
• Once the length of the collection pipe has been adjusted, turn the lock nut clockwise to secure the collection
pipe.
