12 Attach the protective cap to the flange
plug.
1 Use the multimeter to perform the
continuity check on PIN2 (BN) and PIN3
BN (brown)
(WH) on the CAT3 PRO flange plug.
WH (white)
Scenario 1: Electrical continuity between
PIN2 and PIN3 can be measured.
2 Turn the adjusting nut on the switch with
the fork wrench (SW 12) clockwise up to
the exact point at which it is no longer
possible to measure any continuity
between PIN2 and PIN3.
Scenario 2: No electrical continuity can be
measured between PIN2 and PIN3.
2 Turn the adjusting nut on the switch with
the fork wrench (SW 12) counterclockwise
just before the point at which it is possible
to measure the electrical continuity
between PIN2 and PIN3.
