1 Replacing the switch
1.3 Setting the switching point and mounting the switch
NOTICE
• Spare part set 780.2190.1 is required to replace the switch.
• In general, we recommend use of the spring changing device 780.2093.1.
Use of a suitable device makes alignment and assembly significantly easier.
• A multimeter is needed for alignment and assembly tasks.

Switch Replacement for CAT3 PRO
1 Place CAT3 PRO in the device.
2 Deflect CAT3 PRO in the Z direction
1.10 mm (± 0.1 mm) using a suitable
device.
One rotation of the clamp lever in the
Z direction equals 1.5 mm deflection
(pitch of threaded spindle on clamping
lever = 1.5 mm).
3 Use the multimeter to perform the
continuity check on PIN2 (BN) and PIN3
(WH) on the CAT3 PRO flange plug.
