The red LED comes on to indicate that the battery is being charged.
If the red LED blinks, the battery may be out of the valid charging

make sure that the battery is charged in an area with an ambient
temperature in the correct range and leave the battery in the charger
until charging is completed.
The green LED will light to show that the battery is fully charged.
When the battery is fully charged, the red LED will go out. A full
charge will typically be completed in less than 3 hours.
If the battery/camera is left on the charger, the charger will
occasionally re-charge the battery to keep it fully charged. This will not
harm the battery.
Charging batteries using the desktop charger
The mains adapter of the desktop charger is delivered with several
connectors. Select the suitable connector for your power supply
system.
Connect the charger to the power source.
The amber LED must be lit throughout the entire charging
procedure.
Put the battery in the charger. The pins of the battery must be
connected to the pins of the charger.
The battery is charged as described above.
Charging batteries using the truck-mounted charging system
The truck-mounted charging system can be used to charge both the
camera with inserted battery and a spare battery.
Make sure the thermal imaging camera charging pins and
charging cradle are clean and free from debris.
To open the lid, lift its locking handle and place the thermal
imaging camera into the charging cradle lens end first.
The charging cradle will accept the camera with or without
crawling handle.

Close the lid.
The camera will automatically be turned off when it is put on the
truck charger.
In order to charge a spare battery, lift the locking handle of the
battery receptacle at the bottom of the charger and insert the
battery. The locking handle will snap shut indicating that the
battery is properly seated.
The battery is charged as described above.
To remove camera or spare battery, lift the respective locking handle.
Replacing the battery
WARNING
The thermal imaging camera is not intrinsically safe.
Replace the battery in a safe, non-hazardous environment only!
Replacement of the battery in a hazardous environment may result
in an explosion.
To insert the battery into the thermal imaging camera, align battery
and battery rails.
Push the battery firmly into the thermal imaging camera until it
makes an audible click.
To remove the battery, lift the battery latch.
Pull out the battery from the camera housing.
Adjusting the side straps
Open the hook and loop fastener.
Set the side strap as desired.
Close the hook and loop fastener again in order to fix the side
straps in the selected position.
