6. Adjust the settings.
a. To select the Disallow installation of printers using kernel-mode drivers setting,
double-click on the setting. The Disallow installation of printers using kernel-mode
drivers Properties dialog box opens.
Tip: Selecting a setting opens an information pane about the setting.
b. From the dialog box, select the Disabled option button.
c. Select Apply.
d. Select OK. The Properties dialog box closes.
7. Close the Console1 window. You will be prompted to save.
8. If desired, save the console.
Note: The Printers settings are applied and saved, even if the MMC (Microsoft
Management Console) is not saved.
