Connect the Grundfos Direct Sensor™ RPS probe (pressure switch) to the
S6 input.
S6 can also be used as an input for the 0–10 V feedback signal in systems 3
and 4 (pin 2).
S7 can be used as a voltage-free input for the cooling function. Pins 2 and
3 come with a pluggable cable link already connected.
If the contact is closed (cable link connected), the heating mode will be active
when demanded. If the contact is open (cable link not connected) and the
cooling option is activated, the cooling mode will be active when demanded.
The terminal labelled PWM A is a control output for a high-efficiency pump.
If an external centralised unit is used for the outside temperature probe,
connect it to the Vbus terminals (the polarity does not matter).

Note
The probe connections depend on the selected system (p. 7).
Free terminals: use for the mixer auxiliary microswitch to control the generator
if its voltage is greater than 30 V instead of contact R4.
Antifreeze: default control; when S2 is below 7 °C, the pump is started and the
temperature is regulated at 20 °C for 30 min (see page 15).
Outside temperature probe: reference temperature of 0°C if faulty.

Control and operation

3.1 Keys and rotary switch

The control unit is controlled by means of 2 keys and 1 rotary switch
(Lightwheel ) under the display:

Left key ( ) -ESC key to return to the previous menu
Right key (✓) - confirm / select
Lightwheel - scroll up / down, increase / decrease values
®

3.2 Settings and user code

The settings are only available if the user code has been entered correctly.
To access the user code request, press the right key (✓) in the home screen for
approximately 3 seconds.
User code: 0322
The settings menu is displayed if the user code was entered correctly.
Press the left key ( ) to return to the home screen.
The controller returns to the home screen if no keys are pressed for a further
5 minutes.
