Basic Scanning Procedure with the PixUtil

In this section, we will describe the basic scanning procedure. For the sake of
example, we will explain the procedure using the PixUtil software that is
bundled with this scanner.
1.
Start PixUtil.
2.
If the scanner is not selected, select it now. If the scanner is already selected,
proceed to Step 3.
Select the scanner according to the following procedure. For details, refer to
the ISIS/TWAIN driver help.
1) In the File menu, click Select Scanner.
2) In the Scanner Selection dialog box, select Canon DR-3060 or Canon DR-
3080C and then click OK.
3) If the Configure Device Settings dialog box appears, select the default
paper size and then click OK.

Click the Scan Setup button.
The scanner settings dialog box (the Basic Setup dialog box) appears.

Perform the scanner settings and click the OK button.
For details on these settings, refer to the ISIS/TWAIN driver help.

Open the File menu and select Scan Batch to File.
The Scanned Document Name dialog box opens.
6.
Open the Drives pull-down list box and select the target drive, then in the
Directories tree navigate to the target directory where you want to save the
scanned image files.
