Safety notices

WARNING
Never grab between the two parts of the crimp insert during the crimping
process.
WARNING
There is danger to life if this is disregarded!
Never work on live electrical conductors. The absence of voltage must be
checked with the appropriate means before starting work.
• Before ending the crimp operation, check whether the two halves of the crimp insert are
lying completely on top of each other. Only then a proper crimp can be guaranteed.
• Before starting work, make sure that the latch is fully engaged in the pivot yoke.
• Please take account of the number of crimps required in the connection fittings
CAUTION
No changes may be made to the crimping tool.
CAUTION
The tool must be checked for external damage / wear before each commis-
sioning. If there is visible damage, the tool must on no account be used.
ATTENTION
Repairs may only be carried out by Weidmüller Interface GmbH & Co. KG
service department.
