Malfunction and excessive strain

If it has been assumed that safe
operation is no longer possible,
the installation must be shut down
and secured against being inad-
vertently put back into operation.
This is the case, if...
• the installation shows visible
signs of damages,

Heating Media

The heating system must not be
used to heat explosive media or
media developing explosive gases
when heated. The heating system
has to be installed outside hazard-
ous locations.
During operation, the heating jacket can develop temperatures which may
lead to injury when touched. Therefore measures for personal protection have
to be taken. When switched on do not touch the heating jacket.

Installation and connection

Controller
You can position the controller in
two ways:
• Wall mounted
(sockets below the controller)
• Cabinet position
(sockets backside of controller)
ISOPAD configures the controller
for wall mounting. For use in cabi-
• the installation is not functioning
correctly,
•
after excessive strain of any kind,
the admissible limits are exceeded
(e.g. storage, transportation, oper-
ating temperature).
When adjusting the temperature of
the controller the properties of the
medium to be heated have to be
observed!
Attention!
nets, open the cover (4 screws) and
turn the display carefully (during
handling be careful with cabling).
For wall-mounting, open the unit
(4 screws), fix the bottom part of the
unit by using the 4 holes in the cor-
ner-areas and assemble the cover
again. Handle cables carefully!
