General Safety Instructions

Attention!
This information needs to be considered during handling and operation
of "Parker, domnick hunter" Heating Systems:
Please read the manual carefully ahead of use of this apparatus.
Follow the declaration on the type plate and the warning instructions at the
heated jacket.
Keep this manual for later appropriation!
This manual needs to be held in charge apparently.
The heating system can be operated only according to occupational health and
safety law, regional safety regulations and instructions of the Accident Prevention
& Insurance Association.
For Germany TRGS 526, eminently chapter 4.6 is applicable.
Please take these advices as part of the operating instructions of your
QA-System Handbook.
Handle these advices also like a manual according to TRGS 526, chapter 4.2.
Never remove the warning labels on the heated jacket!
This heated jacket had been designed and manufactured according to
IEC 60519-1:2003 and IEC 60519-2:2003. Operation, installation, supply
and maintenance of the heating system need to be realized in accordance
with these standards!

Electrical Equipment

The heated system is of electrical equipment! To prevent from danger caused
by electric energy, an earth leakage current breaker (ELCB or RCD) has to be
installed for protection purpose. This ELCB or RCD should represent a tripping
current of 30mA.
To guard against electric shock, the heated jackets have to be maintained and
services by authorized staff and users only!
Heated jackets, which show bare heating conductors or brittle glass fibre cloth inside
the cavity have been overheated und misused.
This equipment has to be set off operation and safely stored to prevent from reuse.
Reuse may lead to personal injury and needs to be avoided!
