attention when children are present! Children might attempt to stick objects into the
device through the casing openings or short circuit the batteries. There is danger of fire /
explosion or a danger to life from electric shock!
• The product is only suitable for charging rechargeable nickel zinc batteries (NiZn) type
AA/mignon or AAA/micro. Never try to charge other rechargeable batteries (e.g. NiCd,
NiMH) or even normal batteries! There is a risk of fire and explosion!

OPERATION
• Plug the charger into a mains socket. Regarding permissible operational voltage, observe chapter
"Technical Data".
• Insert up to four NiZn batteries type AA/mignon or AAA/micro in the charging chutes. Please observe
correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-). The charging process starts automatically. The charging chutes
are independent from each other; it does not matter which one is used first or in which order the
batteries are inserted.
• The LED of the respective charging chute flashes slowly while charging (1x per second). Heating up
of the rechargeable batteries during charging is normal.
If a defective or wrong battery is inserted, the LED flashes quickly (approx. 4x per second); the
charging process is interrupted.
• When the battery is fully charged, the LED of the respective charging chute is lit permanently. The
battery can now be removed and used again.
• After all batteries are charged and removed, disconnect the charger from the mains socket and keep
it in a place that is inaccessible for children.
CLEANING
Before cleaning, remove the batteries from the charger; then unplug the charger from the mains
socket.
Clean the product with a clean, dry and soft cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents to avoid
discolouration.
Dust can be removed very easily using a clean, soft, long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Keep the charger's and batteries' contacts free of dirt!
