Basic safety notes
Intended use
The Geberit Mapress pressing collars are
intended exclusively for pressing Geberit Mapress
system pipes and pressfittings.
Geberit only recommends using Geberit Mapress
pressing collars in the following pressing tools
which have a permanently installed adapter jaw:
• Geberit pressing tools that carry the same
compatibility mark
pressing collar
• pressing tools from other manufacturers that
have been approved by Geberit for processing
Geberit Mapress system pipes and pressfittings.

Other pressing tools have not been tested by
Geberit in terms of their suitability for the Geberit
Mapress pressing collars. Using pressing tools
with excessive pressing force can significantly
reduce the service life of the pressing collars.
