Problem
Grinder does
not start after
pressing Start/

The bean con-
tainer cannot

Possible cause
– Grinder not plugged in.
– Grinder is overheated.
– Bean container not attached
correctly.
– Timer control setting is "0".
– No coffee beans in bean con-
tainer.
– Grinder or bean container is
blocked.
– The grind is set too fine.
– Coffee beans are jammed in
the grinder.
– Bean container not locked
correctly.
What to do
– Plug mains cord into power
outlet.
– Remove mains plug from power
outlet. Leave for 20 minutes to
cool down before using again.
– Lock the bean container as
described.
– Turn the Timer control to a
higher number.
– Fill bean container with fresh
coffee beans.
– First pour out the beans from
the bean container and then
remove the bean container.
Check the bean container and
the grinder for any blockages.
Fit everything together again
and start the appliance.
– Select a coarser grind.
– Start the coffee grinder using
the Start/Stop button and only
then turn the bean container to
change the grind.
– Unlock the bean container and
refit it.
