5. Unplug the mains plug from the socket.
6. Secure mains plug against unintentional plug-in.
7. Switch off compressed-air supply.
8. Remove the compressed air hose from the EPS 200.

Removing the frequency inverter

DANGER
Contact with live parts in an opened frequency
inverter leads to electric shocks and heart
failure and may be fatal.
 Wait at least 15 minutes after switching off the
EPS 200 and before opening the cover over the
terminals. Do not open the cover over the
terminals until the waiting period of 15 minutes
has elapsed and the charge LED is off.

The description of the disassembly procedure
can be found in the servicing instructions for the
EPS 200 or EPS 205 in the section "Replacing the
frequency inverter".
1. On an EPS 200: Remove the protective hood.
On an EPS 200 with basic set 1 687 010 397:
Remove the protective cover.
2. Remove the safety switches.
3. Detach the housing sections.
4. Detach the jet chamber unit.
5. Detach the upper housing section.
6. Detach the LCD display assembly.

7. Open the cover over the terminals

8. Remove the RJ45 connecting cable.
9. Remove the internal cover over the terminals.
10. Disconnect the cables from the connections PE,
R/L1, S/L2 and T/L3.

P0 and PA, ensure that the cables are identified (see

12. Disconnect the cables from the connections P0 and
PA
13. Disconnect the cables from the connections U/T1,
V/T2, W/T3 and PE.
14. Remove the rear cover over the terminals.
15. Remove the grounding plate.
16. Remove 4 hex socket head cap screws and washers.
17. Remove the frequency inverter.

connected, and can be used to commission the
