The arm module can only charge if the
on/off switch is on. The arm module
will not charge if the on/off switch is
off . If the arm module is neither in use
nor connected to the charger, during
transport for example, the on/off switch
on the arm module can be switched off
altogether to prevent the battery from
running out.

Base station

The square white box is the base station
that displays both light and sound
signals. The base station can be placed
anywhere in the home near a power
outlet. However, ensure that you can
hear the sound signal from the base
station and that it is loud enough to wake
you up at night.

PLEASE NOTE: The arm module cannot
charge when it is switched off . Always
leave the arm module switched on when it
is connected to the charger.
The white upper side of the arm module
contains one indicator light (C), used for
several signals. Read about these signals
in Chapter 6.
