3.7 To install/connect eject box (cars with automatic transmission)

Fold out folded page 87 .
The telephone centre armrest (25) must be ordered separately to match the trim colour (see ETK / MF for part
number).
For cars dating from before 9/97 , the centre armrest and the slide unit must be replaced in full.The work to replace
the centre armrest on the slide unit are then not necessary.
Press in the engagement pins (52) and remove the utility box.
Remove the Torx screws (53) and take the centre armrest off the slide unit.
Fit the mounting (54) and, if necessary, a new armrest (25) on the slide unit and secure it with the Torx screws (53).
Lay the connection cables (57 and 59) for the eject box (12) through the slide unit. Attach the eject box (12) to
the mounting (54) and press it downwards in the direction indicated by the arrow, until the engagement pins (55)
audibly click into position.
Press in the utility box (56).
Lay the connection cables (57 and 59) for the eject box (12) through the slide unit (58). Install the centre armrest.
Connect branch I/7, 18-pin socket casing X4039, to the 18-pin socket casing (57). Clip in the bracket for the plug
connector (19) to the 18-pin plug connector and attach it to the slide unit (58).
Press branch I/6, 6-pin socket casing X4484, into the bracket for the plug connector (19) (not needed).
Connect branch I/8, aerial plug, to the aerial socket (59).
Connect the mobile phone (60), place it in the eject box and lock it in position.
