The LCD display gives you information on the current status of the
telephone.

In idle mode: Press to decrease the base ringer
volume.
In Phonebook List: Press to scroll down the list.
During a call/during TAM message playback:
Press to decrease the volume.
In predialling mode: Press to delete the last
digit.
Phonebook/Mute
In idle mode: Press to access the Phonebook.
During a call: Press to mute/ unmute the
microphone.
In Phonebook: Press to go back to idle screen.
Find
In idle mode: Press to page your handset(s),
which will ring for about 60 seconds.
In idle mode: Press and hold to enter
registration mode.
Base Station Display (see P4)
Cycles through when a handset is on the charging
cradle.
Off when there is no handset on the base cradle.
Steady on when the base speakerphone is connected
to an external call or the base is ringing.
Steady on when the Mute function is turned on.
Off when Mute function is turned off.
Steady on when the answering machine is turned on.
Flashes when there is a new TAM message.
Steady on when there is a new missed call in the Calls
List or when viewing a new missed call.
