Setting the interval flush
The interval flush must be set before the urinal is installed. If the settings need to be changed
later on, the urinal will need to be removed and then reinstalled again by following the
manufacturer's instructions.
The interval flush is actuated automatically if the urinal has not been used for an extended
period. This prevents the urinal trap from drying out (hygiene function). When the factory
setting applies, a flush is actuated every 24 hours.

Press the <Hygiene> button for 1 second.
✓ The flush interval setting advances one level. The current setting is shown with
flash pulses as indicated in the table below.

Press the <Hygiene> button repeatedly for 1 second until the required flush interval is
set.
Result
✓ Each cycle of setting options ends once the button has been pressed 3 times. The next
time the button is pressed, the setting options start from the beginning again.

Putting into operation

While the urinal ceramic appliance is being installed, the brightness sensor in the control unit
is covered, which activates the urinal flush control. 3 minutes after the sensor is covered, the
function is confirmed as indicated in the table below.
Flush actuation
1x flush for 10 seconds, 8-second pause and
1x flush for 2 seconds
3x flush for 2 seconds, 8-second pause and
1x flush for 2 seconds
Actuating the flush
The urinal trap contains a temperature sensor and a conductivity sensor for user recognition
purposes.
A flush can be actuated for test purposes as follows:
• Add at least 0.1 litres of hot water to the residual water in the urinal ceramic appliance.
• Add at least 0.1 litres of table salt solution (0.4%) to the residual water in the urinal ceramic
appliance.
• Using your bare hands, hold a metallic, non-insulated object in the residual water in the
urinal ceramic appliance for approximately 5 seconds.
