Settings for the time shift function
Select the sub-menu "Recording" and the menu item "Permanent

time shift" as described in chapter "Opening setup menu and
navigation" .
The selected menu item with the corresponding setting values (setting
options) appears on the screen .
Under menu item "Permanent time shift" you can activate the time shift
function so that time shift starts automatically in Video IN mode . Infor-
mation on how time shift viewing functions can be found in chapter
"Functions of the remote control buttons/TIME SHIFT" .
Activate/deactivate this setting using the

Select the recording device
Select the sub-menu "Recording" and the menu item "Record-

ing device" as described in chapter "Opening setup menu and
navigation" .
The selected menu item with the corresponding setting values (setting
options) appears on the screen .
Under menu item "Recording device" you can select the target me-
dium where the recordings created during time shift viewing (the TIME
SHIFT function) are to be saved . Information on how time shift viewing
functions can be found in chapter "Functions of the remote control
buttons/TIME SHIFT" .
Two recording media are available: HDD (the installed hard disk) or
USB (the interfaced USB device) .
