HDMI OUT: HDMI output
The appliance has a high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI). HDMI
is a high-speed digital interface which transmits both non-compressed
and high-definition video signals. All types of video signal can thus be
transmitted via this output . Sound, even in multi-channel mode, is also
transmitted together with the video signals via the HDMI output . You
therefore need no additional audio connection between the appliance
and an HD television (high-definition TV) to transmit the sound. The
HDMI output represents the connection type with the highest quality .
Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI jack of the ap-

pliance as shown in the figure.
Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI jack of the

HD TV as shown in the figure.
NOTE
► The HDMI cable is an optional accessory and not part of the
scope of supply .
