The inserted batteries are not being
charged:
• Check that the batteries are being inserted in
accord with their polarity.
• Check to see if you have inserted batteries suit-
able for charging into the Rapid Battery Charger.
Exclusively suitable for recharging are Ni-Cd and
Ni-MH batteries with the sizes AA/Mignon and
AAA/Micro and designated as suitable for rapid
charging.
• Remove the power cable from the power socket
and allow the appliance to cool down, as the
temperature monitoring switch has possibly
activated itself.

• the malfunction cannot be corrected as
described above,
• or, when operating the Rapid Battery Charger,
other malfunctions occur.
