SETTING THE DYNAMO
1. Release the screw
2. Align the dynamo middle axis

4. Tighten the attachment screw
the torque specification (s. chapter Torque specifi-
cations).
HUB DYNAMO
If the bicycle has a hub dynamic, you can switch the lamps on or off with the switch at the head-
light.

DANGER OF ACCIDENT!
• Safe handling of brakes is essential for your safety when cycling. Therefore,
become familiar with the brakes of your bicycle before your first ride.
DANGER
• Check the brakes for function before every ride. Incorrectly set or defec­
tively repaired brakes may cause reduced brake output or even complete
failure of the brakes.
• The brake performance depends on many factors. It may reduce considerab­
ly, e.g. due to the ground properties (gravel paths, loose chippings, etc.), ad­
ditional payload, downhill rides or detriment weather.
Wet ground may cause the brake distance to be approx. 60% longer than on
dry ground. Therefore adjust your cycling behaviour accordingly. Ride more
slowly and with particular care.
• Avoid sudden and strong braking to avoid slipping or blocking of the wheels.
• Have maintenance work and repairs on the brakes performed only by suffi­
ciently qualified specialists. Incorrectly set or defectively repaired brakes
may cause reduced brake output or even complete failure of the brakes.
• Replace brake components only with genuine parts, since only this can en­
sure proper function.
