Configuration of the network interface
The basic requirement for connecting to the virtual computers is the configuration of
the network interface of the device.
After integrating the target module into the IP matrix switch, you can change the
configuration of the module's network interface there (see the manual of the web
application of the IP matrix switch).
Operation via the IP matrix system
Like other targets, the virtual machines connected via the
module are integrated into the OSD and operating concept of the IP matrix switch:
As usual, you connect to a virtual machine (
OSD and can also use convenient functions such as push-get, multi-user access or Cross-
Display-Switching with these virtual machines.
Configuring remote targets
By using the web application of the matrix switch, you can configure any number of
remote targets
via
Configuration > Matrix systems > [Name] > Remote targets
The configuration settings of a remote target include the IP address and the protocol
used to connect to the virtual machine.
You can optionally assign each remote target and each remote gateway (target module of
the

A remote pool groups all remote targets that are accessible via the remote gateways
included in the pool.
