Connection to a matrix switch
IMPORTANT: The devices use components with laser technology complying with
laser class 1.
They meet the requirements according to
and 1040.11 .
Please observe the following safety instructions:
 Avoid direct eye exposure to beam on page 4
 Always connect optical connections or cover them with protection caps on page 4
 Only use G&D certified transmission modules on page 4
NOTE: For the cable connections, use fiber optic cables with LC connectors. These
cables are available as accessories.

Insert the LC plug of a fibre optic cable, which is available as accessory,

into this interface. Connect the other end to the Gigabit Ethernet.
Insert the LC plug of a fibre optic cable, which is available as accessory,

into this interface. Connect the other end to the Gigabit Ethernet.
IMPORTANT: KVM data is transferred to and from the IP matrix switch via these
interfaces.
Power supply
Power In: Plug the connection cable of the power pack into this interface.
Connect the power cable with the power pack and a power socket.
