TMC function

The Traffi c Message Channel continuously broad-
casts traffi c announcements. The TMC function in
your device allows you to receive and display the
messages or use them during the route guidance,
e.g. to bypass traffi c jams. The troubleshooting
table shows the countries in which TMC is avail-
able.

Establishing TMC reception

Your navigation device features a built-in TMC
antenna. The device automatically sets the next
receivable TMC station. If the reception quality
deteriorates, it immediately searches for a new
station. You can also connect an external TMC line
antenna.
Showing traffi c reports

In the Navigation menu, touch the
symbol.
The traffi c reports are listed.

Touch the buttons to change
between messages.

Touch an entry to display the desired mes-
sage.

Touch the Read aloud button to hear the mes-
sage.
Switch on automatic traffi c jam
detours
During route guidance, the automatic traffi c jam
detours guides you past reported traffi c obstruc-
tions.

In the Navigation menu, touch the
symbol.
The Routing options menu is dis-
played.

Touch the symbol to activate (check
mark) or deactivate (no check mark)
automatic traffi c jam detours.
TMC function | Bluetooth function

Bluetooth function (telephone)

Bluetooth is a wireless radio connection over
a short distance. Hence, a Bluetooth-capable
cell phone allows using the navigation device as
a hands-free system. In addition, music tracks
stored on the cell phone can be played and navi-
gated.
Prerequisites:
• Compatible Bluetooth cell phone (contact
your Blaupunkt specialised dealer.)
• Bluetooth function and cell phone visibility
are activated

Starting the Bluetooth application

DANGER!
Distraction from the traffi c can cause
accidents
Do not use the Bluetooth function if you are the
driver and are distracted from ongoing traffi c or
violating any traffi c regulations.

In the main menu, touch the symbol
to reach the Infotainment menu.

Touch the symbol.
The Bluetooth menu is displayed.
Note:
Certain Bluetooth functions may not or not
completely supported by all Bluetooth-ready
devices. Read the instructions of your cell
phone and ask your network provider, if nec-
essary.
