2. Press the (13) button as often
as required to set the speed
until the desired fan speed is
selected. Each time the button
is pressed, an acoustic signal
will sound and one of the indi-
cators on the display will light
up.
Activating and deacti-
vating the safety lock
(child safety lock)
To be able to activate or
deactivate the safety lock,
the appliance must be
switched on.
1. Switch the appliance on, as
described in Section "Switch-
ing the appliance on and off"
see "Switching the appliance
on and off" on page EN-20).
2. Press the fan speed but-
ton (13) and the Mode but-
ton (14) simultaneously for
about one second.
A beep will sound and the
"Lock" indicator (25) will light
up.
All controls are now blocked.
When one of the buttons is
pressed, the display (25) will
flash five times.

3. To deactivate the safety lock,
press the On/Off button (15)
and the Mode button (14)
again simultaneously for
about one second.
A beep will sound and the
"Lock" indicator (25) will light
up.
