Improper handling of the ap-
pliance may result in injury.
Never grasp moving parts

of the appliance. There is
a risk of fi ngers becoming
trapped.
Lay the mains cord in such

a way that no one trips
over it.
Fire hazard!
Vacuuming glowing ash,
burning cigarettes, etc. will
set the fi lter on fi re.
Keep glowing ashes, burn-

ing cigarettes or matches
away from the appliance.

Do not block the air inlet or

outlet. The appliance may
overheat and catch fi re.
Mist produced by ultrason-

ic humidifi ers may get into
the appliance through the
air inlet and/or outlet and
set it on fi re.
Danger of explosion!
Do not spray fl ammable

substances on or near the
appliance.
Do not spray water or

chemical cleaners such as
alcohol directly onto the
appliance.
Health hazard!

hazards.
Do not use the appliance if

the fi lter is missing or dam-
aged.
Otherwise, dust in the

sucked-in air can pene-
trate the appliance and
from there escape into
the ambient air.
