Switching on and off manually
Briefly depressing the ON/OFF button switches the system on.
Please depress and hold the button longer to switch off. (min. 3 s).
Operating modes
Driving mode
Is switched on automatically when the ignition is switched on. A
video is recorded now continuously and written in approx. one minute
sequences to the memory card.
Park mode
The park mode will be activated automatically as soon as the ignition
is switched off. A 20 second sequence will be recorded if vibration
of the vehicle is detected or movement before the radar sensor is
detected.
Recording events
A vibration/jolt of the vehicle above the set values for the G-sensor
will create a separate video recording in the "Event" file of the memory
card.
The start of an event recording is indicated by a double beep.
You can set the sensitivity of the G-sensor to one of five settings.
Using memory
The memory card is divided by the system into the various operating
modes (Driving, Parking, Event). The oldest recording in each area
will automatically be overwritten by the latest recording. Therefore
immediately save respective recording(s) if something happens. You
can download data via the Universal Traffic Recorder app to your
smartphone or remove the SD-card (after switching off the unit) to
prevent overwriting of data/files. When you insert the SD-card into
a PC and then use the card again with a camera the SD-card is
formatted again. Therefore all recorded videos will be erased!
