SOFTWARE UPGRADE
A Windows PC (32 bit operating system) is re-
quired with a USB connection and a USB cable
(type A to type B).

Unpack the new upgrade software and store it
on the PC..

Insert the plug of the mains adapter cable into
IN« socket on the back of the device.

Press and hold down the» « and » « buttons
on the device; at the same time, plug the pow-
er supply unit into the socket.
– Display on the device: »USB Upgrade«

Start the upgrade program on the PC

Start the Wizard upgrade on the PC by pres-
sing the »Next« button.

Press the »Next« button in the "Preparing your
Computer" window.
– Display on the screen: »Preparing your Ra-
dio«.

Connect the »USB« socket (type B) to the PC
using the USB cable.
Note:
If the USB driver for the Cosmopolit 7 A

WEB has not yet been installed, the »Next«
button is locked. In this case, press »Back«
to return to the "Preparing your Computer"
window.

Press the »Next« button in the "Preparing your
Computer" window..
– The USB driver is being installed.
– Then the following appears on the screen:
»Preparing your Radio«.

Press the »Next« button in the "Preparing your
Radio" window.
– The new software is being installed.
Warning:
Do not interrupt the upgrade.
