The basic precondition for safety-compliant and fault-free operation of the product
is knowledge of the safety information and safety specifications.
Therefore read this chapter carefully before you operate the product, and follow
the information and warnings indicated at all times. The safety information and
warnings that can be found in the corresponding location in the text of the
following chapters must also be observed. The manufacturer cannot be made
liable if the information and warnings are not observed.
The operator is responsible for compliance with the safety provisions and for the
intended use of the product itself. To this extent, the operation is at the operator's
own danger and risk. The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting during
use of the product, unless this damage is due to gross negligence or deliberate
breach of contract.
The manufacturer cannot foresee every danger! The warnings contained in these
instructions and attached to the productmight not therefore include all hazards.
Besides the notes in this Instruction Manual, the regulations of the legislature
must be taken into consideration, in particular the safety and accident prevention
regulations.
Operational safety is only ensured if the product is used properly as intended.
Therefore it may only be used for its intended use. The use is only as intended if
the spotlight has been mounted on the holder supplied on a free predefined wall
or ceiling.
The product must be installed so as to ensure compliance with the Fire Safety
Ordinance. Attention to all information in this Instruction Manual is also an
integral aspect of the proper use.

If the floodlight is used for a purpose other than that described above, hazardous
situations for persons or material damage can result.
