One of the most talked-about developments of the 2006 season was the
elevation of young 250cc class riders, Dani Pedrosa and Casey Stoner,
to the top class of MotoGP in an attempt to challenge then-dominant
Valentino Rossi. The rookie sensation from Australia, Casey Stoner got
his start in 250cc class as a wildcard entry in 2001 . In 2002, at the tender
age of 16, he began a long and successful stint as rider with team LCR.
LCR is managed by Lucio Cecchinello, who was also a top 1 25cc class
rider in his day with 48 podium finishes. The LCR team is headquartered
in Monaco and distinguishes itself as the only racing team to obtain the
ISO 9001 standard. The pinnacle of Stoner's 250cc career came in 2005,
when he took 5 victories to win 2nd place overall. Continuing his rela-
tionship with LCR, Stoner made the jump to the MotoGP class at the

company SWANN INSURANCE logos during Stoner's home race, the
Australian GP. Wasting no time in showing the MotoGP world what he
was capable of, Stoner took pole position at Round 2 Losail and had a
2nd place finish at Round 3 Istanbul. 4th place finishes at Le Mans, As-
sen, and Donington further showcased his tremendous talents, and fans
will be hoping for more podium finishes by the promising rider in the
2007 season.

Website EUROBETT wurden beim Britischen GP eingesetzt, dazu die
der Versicherungsgesellschaft SWANN INSURANCE wahrend Stoner's
Heimrennen, dem GP von Australien. Er verschwendete keine Zeit dar-
auf, der MotoGP-Welt zu zeigen, wozu er in der Lage war, sondern holte
sich gleich in Runde 2 Losail die Pole-Position und kam in Runde 3
Istanbul auf Platz 2 ein, 4. Platze bei den Zieleinlaufen in Le Mans, As-
sen und Donington brachten weiter sein enormes Talent zum Ausdruck;
die Fans erhoffen sich naturlich von diesem viel versprechenden Fahrer
fur die Saison 2007 noch mehr Podestplatze.

pas de temps pour demonter ce dont il etait capable en MotoGP, pren-

que Stoner va combler ses nombreux fans durant la saison 2007.
