and E through the vehicle floor via the back plates, as shown in fig. 2.
Place brackets F and G in the chassis. Fit four M10x40 bolts with spring
washers at points A and E.
4. Drill the ø11mm holes H and I through the vehicle floor via back plates C
and D. Place back plates K underneath the vehicle and fit four M10x30
bolts with spring washers and nuts in holes H.
5. Place back plates L and attach these using four M10x30 bolts with spring
and flat washers and nuts at points I. Fit the tow bar between brackets F
and G. Fit two M10x40 bolts with brackets N (as shown in sketch), nuts,
plain and spring washers at points M. Fit two M10x30 bolts with spring
washers at points O.
6. Fit two M10x40 bolts with flat and spring washers and nuts at points P.
Tighten all nuts and bolts to the values shown in the table.
7. Cut out the template and place this in the middle of the underside of the
bumper. Then saw out the indicated part. Refit the bumper. Replace the
floor covering.
8. Place the hitch housing between the ball hitch mounting plates and fas-
ten this in place using two M10x80 (10,9) bolts with flat washers and
self-locking nuts (10).
See the assembly manual supplied for instructions on fitting the
removable ball system.
NOTE:
* Should this installation process entail the cutting of the bumper – con-
formation MUST be obtained by the installation engineer of the custo-
mer's acceptance prior to completion. Brink Towing Systems do not
accept responsibility for any matters arising as a result of this miscom-
munication.
* All measurements are in mm!
* The dealer should be consulted for possible necessary adjustment(s) "of
the vehicle".
* Remove the insulating material from the contact area of the fitting points.
* Consult your dealer for the maximum tolerated pull weight and ball hitch
pressure of your vehicle.
* Do not drill through electrical-, brake- or fuellines.
* Remove (if present) the plastic caps from the spot welding nuts.
* This fitting instruction has to be enclosed in the vehicle documents after
fitting the towbar.
* Brink is not liable for damage caused directly or indirectly by incorrect
assembly, including the use of unsuitable tools, the use of other assem-
bly methods and means than the ones outlined, and the incorrect inter-
pretation of these assembly instructions.

MONTAGEANLEITUNG:
1. Die Bodenmatten im Kofferraum umschlagen. Die Stoßstange und die
Schutzabdeckung entfernen. Gemäß Fig.1 links und rechts die Stoß-stan-
genverstärkungen entfernen. Diese werden nicht mehr benötigt.
2. Die Gegenplatten C und D auf der Bodenplatte anbringen, und die Löcher
A und E gemäß Fig.2 ausmessen. Diese Stellen mit Hilfe eines Körners
markieren. Den Umriß der Platten C und D auf den Boden zeichnen. Die
Gegenplatten C und D entfernen, um den darunterliegenden Kitt zu entf-
ernen.
3. Die Gegenplatten C und D wieder am Boden anbringen. Die Löcher A und
E 13mm (ø) durch die Gegenplatten gemäß Fig.2 und durch den Boden
bohren. Die Stützen F und G im Fahrgestell anbringen. Bei den Punkten
A und E vier M10x40-Schrauben einschließlich Federringen befestigen.
4. Die übrigen Löcher H und I 11mm (ø) durch die Gegenplatten C und D
und durch den Boden bohren. Die Gegenplatten K unter dem Fahrzeug
anbringen und bei den Löchern H vier M10x30-Schrauben ein-schließlich
Federringen und Muttern befestigen.
5. Die Gegenplatten L anbringen und bei den Punkten I mit Hilfe vierer
M10x30-Schrauben einschließlich Federringen, Unterlegscheiben und
