INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Dear customer, thank you for purchasing our product. Please read the operating instructions carefully
before putting the appliance into operation and keep these instructions including the warranty, the receipt
and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. This appliance is designed to mechanically remove
dental plaque. It is easy to use and enhances your dental hygiene. The oral irrigator features cutting-edge
technology in an efficient and ergonomic appliance which is an ideal tool for your dental care.
I. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
– Instructions in the Instructions Manual are part of the appliance and shall be provided to all users of
the appliance.
This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and older
–
and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities
or lack of experience and knowledge only if they are supervised
or have been instructed about safe use of the appliance and
understand potential risks involved. Children must not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and maintenance carried out by the user must
not be carried out by children. Children under 8 years of age must
keep away from the appliance and its adapter.
For increased safety, we recommend that you install a residual-
–
current device in the bathroom´s el. circuit (RCD) with rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA. Consult with an
inspecting technician or electrical engineer.
The appliance has no charging source of its own, it is only
–
designed for charging via USB (an adapter with USB output, with
output voltage of 5.0 V, and output current of at least 1000 mA).
Before making any connection, please pay attention to instructions
of the manufacturer of the respective power source.
If the appliance is used in a bathroom, it must be disconnected
–
from the mains after use by unplugging the power cord from the
wall socket, because the appliance poses a risk if near to water,
even when switched off.
Never use the appliance if the USB power cable or adapter is
–
damaged, if it does not work properly, if it fell to the ground and got
damaged. In this case take the appliance to a special service to
check its safety and proper function.
The appliance and the connected adapter must not be used at
–
places where it could fall into bath tub, wash basin or swimming
pool. If the appliance fell into water anyway, do not take it out!
First of all, unplug the adapter from the socket and only then take
the appliance out.
