Do not operate the set unattended.
Make sure all electric connections, lines connecting the set and any extension cables
are according to the prescriptions and are in conformity with the instructions of this
manual.
A defective mains connection line may be replaced by an expert electrician only.
Keep electrical sets out of the reach of children. Be particularly atten-
tive to children, if present. Children could attempt to put objects into
the set. There is a hazard of an electric shock which is dangerous to
life.
Do not place containers, e.g. flower pots, on the receiver. Never pour
out liquids above the set. Do not place any mall objects such as coins,
paper clips, etc. on the set because these could fall into the set. There
is an extreme danger of fire or an electric shock which is dangerous to
life. If liquid should have entered the set notwithstanding this dis-
connect the set from the voltage (withdraw the plug) immediately and
call an expert electrician.
Do not touch the mains plug when your hands are wet.
Handle the power cord by the plug. Never not pull out the plug by tug-
ging the cord. Only use the gripping surfaces provided for this purpo-
se on the plug.
Do not carelessly litter the packaging material. Plastic sheets or bags, styropor ele-
ments, etc. could become a dangerous toy for children.
When installing the set take care not to squeeze the mains connection cable or to
damage it by sharp edges.
Unplug the set from the mains socket every time
- before cleaning the set
- there is a thunderstorm
- you will not use the set for a major period of time.
Make sure the set is ventilated well. Never place objects on the ventilation ports.
Get the set put into service by well-qualified electrical personnel to ensure its safe
operation.
