Lead the electrical cable (possibly with plug) to the socket/electrical connection
point by a safe route and fasten it firmly to the surface with the appropriate nail
clamps.
If you wish to connect the electrical cable directly to the electricity grid (and
therefore wish to use switch operation) you must use an electrician to create this
connection.
LED4 & LED4-P and Powerled 10, -10-S & -10-P
Ensure that the electrical cable can never be kicked or dragged, but always follows a
route that guarantees the safety of the cable, light and people near the light.
ACTIVATION USE
You activate your Powerled garden lighting by switching on the current – either with
the wall switch or by pushing the plug into the socket. Disconnect the power supply to
switch the light off again.
SENSOR POWERLED10-S
The Powerled10-S is fitted with a sensor that switches the
light on when it detects movement within its range.
For an optimum effect, hang the Powerled10-S 180 to 250
cm above the ground.
The range of the sensor is 120° horizontal.
The sensor is fitted to the bottom of the light and can
therefore be continuously adjusted with the light in a
vertical direction. In addition, the sensor can be adjusted
approximately 45° separately from the light. The sensor
can rotate approximately 60° horizontally in relation to the
light.
There are two buttons on the bottom of the sensor:
Use the left button (see diagram) to adjust the light level
for the activation of the light (after all, operation during the
day is unnecessary). The further you turn this button
clockwise, the darker it must be before the light switches
on. Turning it anticlockwise makes the sensor more
sensitive.
Use the button on the right to adjust how long the light
must be active once it has been switched on. As far as
possible clockwise is maximum (8 minutes), and as far as
possible anticlockwise is minimum (10 seconds).
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Disconnect the power supply before cleaning the light or executing maintenance.
