for a fixed connection to the electricity grid and operation with a wall switch on a wall
socket. The connection to the electricity grid must be carried out by a recognised
electrician and is therefore not described in detail in this manual.
The Powerled10-S is fitted with a sensor that activates the light when it detects
movement within its range. This light is also intended for wall mounting and fixed
connection to the electricity grid, whether or not with a wall switch.
You can also connect a cable with a 220-240 V earthed plug at the other end to the
LED4, Powerled10 and Powerled10-S. To switch the light on you first insert the plug
into a suitable earthed socket. In that case, do not interrupt the cable with a switch.
This will compromise the water tightness!
Powerled10 & -10S:
Select a solid, level surface (without
vibrations) on which to fasten the light.
Remove the mounting bracket of the light
by unscrewing both of the screws on the
side.
Determine where the light must be
mounted.
Use the mounting bracket to mark the
places for both of the drilled holes, 60 mm apart (do not use the large hole!).
Drill holes at the two marked places and fit both with a plug.
Screw the fastening bracket to the wall with appropriate screws, see diagrem1. The
screws are not supplied.
Remove the 4 screws on the corners of the connection box and remove the cover.
Unscrew the large nut of the cable lead through under the cover and remove it. At
the bottom of the cover you will see the screw thread
containing the plastic guide channel with a rubber
gasket.
Slide the cable lead through nut over the electrical
cable and lead your electrical cable (H05RN-F
3G0,75mm², not supplied) through the plastic guide
channel with the rubber gasket. It may be necessary
to remove the plastic guide channel from the screw
thread and then push it back into the screw thread as
much as possible after the lead through. The plastic
guide channel must fit tightly around the cable and
the rubber gasket must remain securely in place!
Connect the 3 wires of the electrical cable, see
diagram 2.
Give the three loose wires or the electrical cable
another 6 to 7 cm of space inside the connection box,
ensuring that the outside sleeve of the electrical cable ends at least 15 mm inside
the connection box!
Place the cover of the connection box in its original position, ensuring that the
rubber seal is fitted to the cover securely. Screw the cover tightly onto the
connection box with the 4 screws on the corners.
