Finally, screw the lead through nut back onto the screw thread. This also clamps
the electrical cable into position in the lead through.
Fasten the light to the mounting bracket again (cable at the bottom). Select the
correct position for the light and then firmly tighten both of the screws on the side.
Lead the electrical cable (possibly with the plug) to the socket/electrical connection
point by a safe route and fasten it firmly to the surface with the appropriate nail
clamps.
If you wish to connect the electrical cable directly to the electricity grid (and
therefore wish to use switch operation) you must use an electrician to create this
connection.
LED4:
Select a solid, level surface (without vibrations) on which to fasten the light.
Remove the mounting bracket of the light by unscrewing both of the screws on the
side.
Determine where the light must be mounted.
Use the mounting bracket to mark the
positions of both drill holes, 40 mm apart
(do not use the middle hole!), see
diagram1.
Drill holes at the two marked places and fit
both with a plug.
Screw the fastening bracket to the wall with
appropriate screws. The screws are not
supplied.
Unscrew the 4 screws on the corners of the connection box and remover the cover.
Unscrew both screws of the cable clamp (directly behind the cable inlet in the
connection box) and remove the cable clamp. Finally, unscrew the grey cable lead
through nut on the side of the connection box and remove it. Leave the rubber
gasket in the lead through!
Slide the cable lead through nut over the electrical cable and lead your electrical
cable (H05RN-F 3G0,75mm², not supplied) through the rubber gasket into the
connection box.
Remove approximately 2.5 cm of the outer sleeve of the electrical cable and
connect the 3 wires of the electrical cable to the connector. Attention: yellow/green
on yellow/green, blue on blue and brown on brown (brown can also be red).
Give the three loose wires or the electrical cable some more space inside the
connection box, but ensure that the outside sleeve of the electrical cable ends 6 to
8 mm inside the connection box. The cable clamp must fall over the outer sleeve!
Screw the lead through nut back on to the screw thread. This will move the rubber
gasket precisely into position.
Put the cable clamp back into position and check that the outer sleeve of the cable
is still firmly secured under the cable clamp. Now secure the clamp in place with
both screws.
Place the cover of the connection box back in its original place and screw it firmly
onto the connection box with the 4 screws on the corners.
Now fasten the light onto the mounting bracket (cable at the bottom). Select the
correct position for the light and then screw the screws on both sides firmly into
place.
