Maintenance

■ If you lack the necessary technical knowledge, consult an expert (e.g. a specialist
two-wheeler stockist).
As with all mechanical components, the product is subject to wear and high loads.
Different materials and components can react differently with respect to wear and fatigue
caused by loading. If the design service life of a component is exceeded, the component
can suddenly fail and possibly result in injury to the rider. Any form of cracks, scratches
or discolourations in highly stressed areas is an indication that the service life of the
component has been reached and that the part should be replaced.
Regular maintenance of the product is required to ensure the safety of the user!
• Do not unnecessarily expose the product to dust, rain, snow or extreme weather
conditions to prevent rusting and similar problems.
• If the braking performance diminishes, have the brakes adjusted at a specialist
retailer or at a specialist workshop!
• If any sharp edges / ridges are produced during use, they should be smoothed down
immediately to prevent any risk of injury.
