Route display (j)
• Shows how many kilometres have been travelled on the current trip (TRIP) and in
total (ODO) as well as the voltage.
• You can switch between the displays by pressing the ARROW button (c).
Battery status display (f)
• Shows the battery status during use.
• If the battery status is low, the battery status display (f) fl ashes.

Use

■ Check the product for damage and to make sure it works correctly each time before
you start using it! Note the start checklist (see the "Maintenance" chapter)!
■ Practise accelerating, braking and steering!
■ Do not lean on the accelerator throttle after switching on the product. It will respond
immediately!
■ Always use the parking brake on the brake lever (see the "Parking" section) to park
the scooter.
Recommendation: Make your fi rst attempts at riding while sitting down as the
feeling will be more familiar. Carefully stand up and try riding while standing.
1. Park the scooter on permitted ground (see the "Intended Use" chapter) on a fl at
surface with suffi cient free space around it. Make sure that you will not get in
anybody's way when you set off.
Before You Set Off
1. Test whether the scooter will roll freely: As you roll it forwards, the motor should offer
slight resistance. As you roll it backwards, this resistance ought to be higher.
2. Test the brake: Give the scooter a slight push and activate the brake lever (6). The
wheels (13, 20) ought to be stopped when the brake lever (6) is applied. If this is not
the case, the brakes need to be serviced (see the "Maintenance" chapter).
3. Test the spring-back of the accelerator throttle (27): Set the parking brake on the
brake lever (6) (see the "Parking" section). Turn the accelerator throttle (27) slightly.
If it cannot be turned or does not spring back, contact a specialist or the customer
service department.
4. Check the battery status display (f). If only one bar or no bar can be seen, charge up
the battery (see the "Before Your First Ride" chapter, "Removing / Inserting the Battery
Pack and Charging the Battery" section).

ATTENTION!
2. Switch on the battery: Press the rocker switch (k) on the
battery pack (17) at the back left to the position ON.
3. Switch on the scooter. The speedometer display (1)
switches on (see the "Before Your First Ride" chapter,
"Speedometer Display" section, "Switch the scooter
on / off" subsection).
