Cleaning

■ Switch off the product before you clean it.
■ Do not clean the mains adapter while it is still connected to the mains power.
■ Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning. These can damage
the surface.
1. Remove the battery pack (17) (see the "Before Your First Ride" chapter, "Removing /
Inserting the Battery Pack and Charging the Battery" section).
2. Wipe down the product with a damp cloth if necessary and then dry it with a soft cloth.
Do not hose it down with a garden hose or similar implement.
3. Clean the foot board (12) with a little water and a rinsing brush. Then dry it with a
cloth.
4. Wipe down the mains adapter with a slightly damp cloth if necessary and then dry it
with a soft cloth.
5. Allow all parts to dry before you assemble and / or store them away again.

Storage

■ Avoid storing the battery when it is discharged. The cells of the battery may be
damaged or destroyed (deep discharge).
1. Charge up the battery.
2. Disconnect the mains adapter from the mains power and wind up the mains cable. Do
not wrap it around the mains adapter!
3. Fold down the steering rod (7) if necessary (see the "Before Your First Ride" chapter,
"Folding Down the Steering Rod" section).
4. Store the product in a dry, clean, frost-free (0 - 40 °C) place which is protected from
sunlight and is not accessible to children or animals.

Recommendation: If the product is not going to be used for a prolonged pe-
riod, e.g. over the winter, pull out the large barrel connector between the battery
pack (17) and the scooter (see the "Before Your First Ride" chapter, "Remov-
ing / Inserting the Battery Pack and Charging the Battery" section, "Charge the
battery pack detached from the scooter" subsection).
To make the scooter easier to transport, lift it up by the rear mudguard and push
or pull it using the front wheels (20). Attention! This only works if the steering
rod (7) has been folded down.
